Historia
editar- Un año después de la independencia de Somalia en 1960, el Comisionado de la India a Mauricio fue acreditado como Embajador de la India a Somalia y presentó credenciales en 1961.
- Tras estalló la guerra civil en 1991, la Embajada de la India en Mogadiscio fue cerrado.
- Somalia mantiene una embajada en la India. El Alto Comisionado de la India en Kenia está simultáneamente acreditado en a Mogadiscio (Somalia). El ex Alto Comisionado visitó Mogadiscio desde marzo 6-7 2011 para presentar credenciales al Sharif Sheid Ahmed.
